Windows XP will not go to welcome screen even with 2 password accounts

I have 2 password protected accounts on windows XP. I have use welcome screen and use fast user switching checked. When I turn on the computer it logs on to one of the accounts and bypasses the welcome screen. Any explanation? Has anyone seen this before? I can't find anything that addresses it in the MS knowledge base. Any help will be appreciated.

Hey,

That happens to me to but if I had two accounts it wouldn't bypass it maybe you should have to accounts and not use the one, or there could be a setting in user accounts that you could change.

Have you ever run "Control Userpasswords2" and unchecked "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"? How about checking to make sure it's still checked.

Thanks, that worked. I always thought if you had use welcome screen checked and had passwords on both accounts it would go to the welcome screen.
