Wireless connection

  1. Hi there all,

Just joined the fray, I would like some help with a wireless connection
to my laptop, after installing router and adaptor which is working fine,
I then purchased a Belkin notebook card which I tried unsuccessfully to
set up, however, when instructed to insert card, my screen froze, so I was
    unable to complete.

Would someone kindly help ? I am at my wits end trying to overcome this
    problem.

    thanks for listening !

try installating the caard just by browsing to the inf if you can. this will prevent belkin's wireless utility from loading as well. depending on the card you may not be able to do it. But run devmgmt.msc and scan for hardware changes. when attemppting to locate the driver browse to the directory that houses the .inf file for the card. note that some inf files dont have all the information needed.
