Check the Acer support site for a possible update to the Atheros adapter driver. What OS are you running?

    My wireless goes off !

Some more info that may be of use.

When connected to WiFi (no power cable)
Network Connections screen shows two icons. Local Area Connection (Disabled) and Wireless Network (Connected)

When connected to WiFi (with power cable in) ... lose WiFi + network list shows nothing
The Network Connection screen has three icons.Local Area Connection (Disabled), Wireless Network (Not Connected) and a 1394 Connection (Disabled)

    Does this help

    This is normal
