  1. Hi,

Im having some isses neworking my XP Laptop to another Windows 7 Laptop using a wireless network. As i am away from home i do not have access to a network cable.

As my Laptop is networked to the computer at home i used the same method to try and Network it with the Windows 7 Laptop.

I ran the wiresless netowkr setup wizard on the latop saved the settings to a USB flash drive and then ran the wizard from the USB drive on the Windows 7 Laptop. However despite doing this the windows 7 Laptop does not see to pick up the XP Laptop. The Window 7 Laptop is part of its ome group but i dont know if i should "leave" the home group or not.

    Windows XP Professional SP3
    Windows 7 Home Premium
I do NOT have a router available (is this my issues?)

Im abit new to networking XP & 7 so any help appreciated.
