WMP- corruped, green tint on the played files (videos)

I have trouble with windows live movie maker and windows media player, when I try to edit a video, or watch a saved file the color looks wrong, there's a green tint on the videos, this heppened to me before, I just got this computer yesterday, and I'm having the same problem, I ran troubleshooter and it said WMP- was corrupted, I have windows 7 home edition 64 bit, does enyone have an idea on how to fix this, I need windows live movie maker and WMP working asap, Thanks.
