I use my Touch 2 windows phone to browse the web all the time. Both in my house over wifi and out and about using mobile internet. Navigate to this website sometimes via mopbile web as well, along with checking email, news and watching youtube videos. Yesterday I followed by ttrip to London using google maps and the phones inbuilt sat-nav. (kinda classes as Mobile web use right!)

Some say Win mob sucks, i have no beef with it, does what I want it to. battery life on the touch 2 a bit crap when using Net and Sat nav tho.

I do often - especially if it's late and I forget to do something on one of my machines, I'll remote control a machine from my phone and do it from bed.

If I'm not near my computer(s), I'll get on my phone. Especially useful for price-matching in stores.
  6. I actually use my HTC Incredible quite a bit online. The 1Ghz processor is VERY fast, and being online anywhere anytime is sweet. The pages load very fast, and are easily read when sized. I used to use a Tracfone, but am utterly won over by the Incredible. Sure it's $30 for unlimited data, but it's amazing what this "phone" can do!

  9. I can't live without using my phone for internet. I'm constantly checking things out, without 3G i'd go crazy. No 4G up here yet, but ill surely make the switch when its in Canada.

I hate browsing from my phone so try not to, not even check facebook although a lot of people have become slaved to it. Mainly I use it to read mails.

Only if I really have to. Browsing on a phone with a 320x320 display and a slow CPU isn't that much fun.

Are you talking about the touch pro 2 from HTC? This is the phone I have. I have so many problems with it I couldn't even begin to point them all out. The phone is a hunk of crap. It does what it needs to do, only in the dumbest ways possible.

Almost 100% of the web browsing I do is from my phone.

I have a Motorola Droid 1 rooted running Cyanogenmod 6.0

Nope. I have plenty of time for the internet at home and at work. I have the ability to use it if needed, but that need hasn't arisen yet, and I highly doubt it will.

I still don't see the lure of a $100 a month cellphone when such great prepaid options are available. This is a recession, people Think of it; surfing the web WHILE DRIVING on a 3 inch screen. And now I'm told no cell phone works with IPv6, the next generation of ip addresses, the current of which (IPv4) we will run out of in less than 2 years.
  19. I use the web from my phone at least 4 or 5 times a day, Mostly to look up info, when a question pops into my head. Unbeatable for that. Or looking up stores and what name you. Hell sometimes i hook up my laptop and use my HTC as a Router. and yet i never even get close to my 500mb limit. I can only imagine i'll use it more rather than less in the future.

Nope. Never do. Mostly calls, with a bit of texting on my Razr. It has a web browser, but I never felt the need to pay for internet service on it from my cell phone provider.
