I have an HP running Win 7 home premium / 64.
tried to recover and got a config problem and win will not now boot at all. Tried to Change Win to boot from CD. Won't do it even though I cahnged it it Start up. I am now somehow in Edit Boot option inside windows . Reads thus
Edit Windows boot option for : win Setup
Path: \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe
[/minit /redirect rdmageoffset=8192 rdimagelength=3161088 rdpath=multi(0)disk(0)
rdisk(0)partition(3)\recovery\windowsRE\winre.wim
I know I need to chnage something here but what?
Stuck in a circle. can't use cd now because it is in a boot circle. I get a config error and call your manufacture for help !!! ????
By the way Optical drive is fine. Had loaded in win 7 with recovery disk by the cd and when it came up this config problem manafested and that is how I got into this loop!
