Won't turn on

    So i have an HP G62x - 400 and i accidentally cracked the screen. i got a friend to replace the screen for me with the screen that i bought. since he returned it to me, it wont turn on. he had no idea what happened and is a trustworthy guy and i know he didnt (intentionally) tamper with anything. it shows that it still revieves power with and without the battery in. its more or the less the power button doesnt do anything. if anybody has had this issue before, or knows what may be the solution, please let me know

    The power button assembly has to be removed when the LCD screen is replaced, so it may just be out of line, or not positioned properly. At worst, the motherboard could be damaged
