Okay I am about as computer illiterate as they come. I recently bought WoW and everything was going great. Except now about 5 or so minutes into my playtime the game will freeze ( I can still move the mouse ) and then the screen will go black. My computer is a Toshiba Satellite P35 3.20 GHz with 512 MB and a ATI mobility RADEON 9700. I've even tried ghosting my computer and reinstalling the game. That didn't help. Any advice would be great. If you need any more information just let me know. Thanks in advance.

did wow ever run properly? what about any other games? given your 'tops specs i'd expect some overheatage. in my opinion the idea of a gaming or otherwise high-powered laptop is laughable, as they have poor battery life, are expensive, and get way too hot.

I actually got it to work now, I had to install old drivers and now it runs fine with no problems with overheating. Thanks for the thought though. It was better than the blank stare I got from the guy at the local computer store.
