Would I be able to run dual HIS ATI Radeon HD5850 with a 850W PSU

    They should work fine. No comparison needed. What kind of power supply, quality>quantity.

    Its a CoolerMaster Silent Pro M850 850W, also running 12gig of DDR3 memory, blue ray drive, SSD and Raid HDD, Sound Blaster and a I7 950 CPU

    I don't see it being a problem... +12v rail is 66A

    Thanks Cheers, just though it be more point running dual 5850 instead of spending even more money just to get one 5970

    the 5850's full load draw is 175w each/16A

    Remember that's 175w each card, but you should have plenty with that PSU. actually 175w was the reference 5850. The non reference cards are rumored to run on 10-15% less than that.

    Yea the GPU i am getting is a super cool quiet one so prob wnt use less because of the extra fans running on the chip. Also faster then the standard one, but i was only planning on running dual anyway so either way should work smooth
