WPD convert to Word???

    Someone has emailed me a .wpd and Word will not open it.
    Can I open this in Word 2000 and how?

    Yes, you can.

    Open Word, click on "File" and "Open". Then browse for the document. You may need to change the types of files Word can view in the browser Window while you look for your file.

    There will be a pull down menu with something that says "File types" or something simliar. Choose Wordperfect and the appropriate version number from this list.

    You should now see your file. Double click on it and Word will import the document for you. You may need your Office 2000 CD to install the appropriate filter.
