I am running windows 7 Ult, and have rr for my isp and about everytime I want to dl something I have to log into my routers setup page and release and renew the ip or sometimes reset it manually. The router is not that old, it is a Linksys WRT160N Firmware Version: v3.0.00. Any help on this?

Perhaps the shortest fix is the long remove and replace as you reinstall your system... most certainly it is in the setup, not in Windows 7 Ultimate

sheez! It is not your system.

    googling Linksys WRT160N Firmware
returns this which indites the router itself. if you have the receipt, return it.
