   My first post. Let me know if I'm in the wrong area.
   I've got mod# DAV HDX589W sony sound system.
   Is it possible to hook up my Xbox through this system?
   I'm as dumb as a box of rocks and can't figure out how.

   It looks like that system doesn't do video pass-through - so you'll have to hook the video from the X-Box straight to your TV. You can pass your audio into the system though, and your best quality will come from using a toslink cable from your (I'm assuming it's an X-Box 360) to this device.
