    Hi everybody,
I've a quick question and need feedback, i was given an old HDD with xp already installed on it but has no sticker, my roomate doesnt need it since he bought a new one . i want to attach that HDD to a broken pc for a friend . i tried it and worked perfectly. my question is : is there any problem in transfering or giving an HDD with xp on it to another person? i mean copyright issues . Thank you

I personally wouldn't worry about that much, if it's from a home user to a home user. There aren't any sensitive documents on it, right?

Thanks for the answer, there is no sensitive documents, it is from my roomate and he wanted to throw it in the trash, but i told him i want to keep it for hardware, i deleted all his documents and photos. i keep only the opearting system and i want to just give it too to a friend for home use. i dont need it either.
