So I have my PC setup with a xp/win7 dual boot, but when it restarts the boot selector is defaulted on Win7, and I would like to to be on Windows XP, as I still use XP more. I did some googling but kept finding guides on how to setup a dual boot, not change the boot order.

So can it be done? and if so how??

Look under My Computer (or System) Properties->Advanced Settings-> Startup and Recovery Settings

You should see a pull down window to choose the default start partition

Thanks! Knew it was something simple just couldn't remember where exactly. I'll get that changed as soon as I get home :D

    Woot! Got it changed.

There is something important to note here tho if anyone else is doing this. You have to log into Win7 to selected it. If you are on XP it just gives you the option for Windows XP. When in Win7 you have Windows 7 and Older version of Windows just like the boot selector. :D
