XP problems and blue screen

  1. midnite8 Newcomer, in training

    I just put a new gigabyte motherboard (Ep45-UD3R) and a new intel core 2 duo processer into my computer and I've been having problems. I also had a corrupt hard drive but removed that one and now I'm just using one. When I turned my computer on today it came up with a blue screen with the error of 0x000000ed (0x867717b8, 0xC000009C, 0x00000000, 0x0000000) and says unmountable_boot_volume too. What can I do?
