    Hi

I've had some problems with my xp and I decided to repair it. The windows setup does not recognize my previous installation so that I can repair it. When I enter the setup it jumps directly to the step where you need to chose a partition where a fresh copy of xp will be installed. I don't get the screen where you can chose to repair with recovery console or the screen where you can chose from a list of previously installed windows instances which one to repair.

When I first installed it I used a SP2 CD, and then I updated my OS to SP3. The CD that I'm using now to repair the OS is SP3.

    Anyway, answers will be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Bye

Is it a recovery disk or the original windows xp disk that came with your computer.
