Have a Dell laptop with several viruses on it. Cleaned them with Malwarebytes and MS Security Essentials. After MS SE asked me to reboot the machine got a "hard stop" BSOD while trying to shutdown. Now when booting the system I just get a black screen and a flashing cursor. Drive passes chkdsk and drive diagnostics just fine and I can access all the files from Linux or a Ghost boot CD but I can't get the system to boot anymore. I was considering fixmbr but it says there's a non-standard partition which may be due to Dell's recovery partition. Any ideas?
