XP won't boot in dual boot system with Vista as primary

i have dell laptop with vista as primary and i have installed xp as a second OS and it worked fine as a dual boot system and
Recently i was formatted vista and installed now the peoblem arises i can boot into vista but whe i press the xp it shows the message

File:\ntldr
status: 0xc000000f

Info: the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is misssing or corrupt

i couldn't find the files boot.ini ,ntldr,ntdetect.com in my system............
pls help me i have lot of applications in my xp
 
Whenever you reinstall or do major meddling with the primary, you will usually find it wise to reinstall the secondary operating system... most of us have the same problem you just experienced.
 
Try re-installing XP as your primary the re-install Vista. Do not use XP to create a Vista partition use Vista's.
