Your Computer is Infected

I am getting a message on my laptop "Your computer is infected! Windows has detected spyware infection It is recommended to use special antispyware...." and I am unable to log on to the internet. I'm not sure what to do at this point. My laptop has Windows XP. If someone can please help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Please post HijackThis log report here for analysis. Can you post a screenshot of the warning message? I suspect your PC is infected with Spyware and the same Spyware is giving that warning message. That kind of warning is not given by Windows OS.

When you are finished running the 3 programs, attach the 3 logs.

IF you have a flash drive, you can download the programs to that, then install them on the problem computer.

You might also try using Safe Mode.
