YouTube to offer independent film rentals

  1. YouTube announced today that it has partnered with the Sundance Film Festival to make life a little easier on independent filmmakers. Between the dates of January 22 (this Friday) and Sunday, January 31, the video sharing site will offer five popular films from the 2010 and 2009 festivals.

    If it is reasonable this could be a great opportunity for both film makers and consumers. Hope they keep some sort of rating system that allows users to give feedback on movies.

    agreed as for the rating system & would be nice to maintain the fact that youtube videos are available worldwide ;)
