Zero Write 120g Samsung

I was looking around and saw this forum. Everyone here seems to know what the hell they are talking about so I thought I would give this a try. I have to reinstall my XP pro do to many conflicts with a missing fil. How in the hell can I clean my HD and start fresh?? Please help. I have been out of this scene for a long time and need specific instructions. Thanks in advance.

When you do a fresh install, set your BIOS to boot from your XP-CD. Then tell XP to (re-)format your HD with NTFS, before you install.
Alternatively, you could use the likes of Partition Magic (start it from the floppies) and partition and/or format the HD with that.

In other words when you are trying to re-install the OS it will give you an option to delete the current partition, or partitions and start from scratch. Just follow the instructions as they are pretty much self explanitory.
