zip drive question

    i am trying to put some programs on to a zip drive but, it just isn't working. how can i put these programs on to a zip drive so they r not on my hard drive but, ican access them only from the zip drive?

    Zip drives are very obsolete these days. Invest in a USB flash (memory) stick or drive. These are relatively cheap, and they will out perform any zip drive. Writeable CD/DVD's also store a lot more data than zip drives do

    i'm srry it's not a zip drive it is a usb flash drive ( sony micro vault) so how do i put the programs on to it so i can access them from only the usb and have them on my hard drive?

    You should be able to see the drive in My Computer. You move any files from your hard drive by cutting and pasting them to the flash drive
