Zonealarm has many issues with other software. You have to be more specific with your system setup.

I just reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled xp pro. I could not install service pack 2 for some reason, so there's no firewall at all. That's about all I know about the system.

you could not install SP2? Is this a legit copy of windows?

yes, it is. it stops when it looks at the license number. I have installed this on 2 or 3 computers. could that be the problem? (it's one of those deals where you buy it at a university at a discount,.
