Microsoft search engine ready to launch
Keeping good on their promise to enter the search market with its own technology by the end of the year, Microsoft plans to launch its Internet search engine tomorrow, in a promised alternative to Google which will which will compete directly with market leading site, sources say. Microsoft has hitherto been relying on Yahoo unit Inktomi to power its search services, but that is all about to change.
