More rumours on Video iPod

More news is emerging about the Video iPod we have been starting to hear about. Stories started coming out about the possibility of this new device when record execs claimed that they had been briefed on a video iPod, and with the addition of video capabilities for iTunes a while ago, these stories began to gain weight. However, the official word from Apple still seems unclear.

As recently as last month, Apple CEO Steve Jobs has been discouraging the rumours, telling press at Apple Expo: "Whether people want to buy a device just to watch video is not clear - so far the answer's been no. Devices that do video... have not been successful yet. No-one's figured out the right formula."
