Nokia to include Antivirus on Smart Phones

Continuing the war against those who seek to do wired users harm, Nokia has taken a predictable step for their phones. Anti-virus software will now run on the Series 60 Nokia smart phones, more particularly a version of Symantec Mobile Security. Though cell-phone viruses and worms have been few, they exist and will only get more common with time as mobiles become more complex and more commonplace. Like the early days of the Internet, mobiles are a largely unprotected segment of the wired population because of how low-profile they are. This is a bit of a proactive step, and a good one that that.
