Quake 4 reviewed and benchmarked

Quake 4 was released earlier this week for your gaming pleasure, and sites such as GameSpot and PCMag have reviews of the full game already published. The new Quake is based on the Doom 3 engine, however if you are still left wondering how the game will perform, Hardwarezone has posted benchmarks.

As an additional side note, Linux gamers can also rejoice as developers have delivered a native Quake 4 server and client installation for open source operating systems. Finally, to post your own impressions or hear what others think about Quake 4, stop by our forums.
