OCZ Technology has released new performance memory, some very low latency PC3200 dual channel kits dubbed "Gold Gamer eXtreme". Quite a name, and though the ram itself isn't that spectacular (though OCZ memory tends to be some of the best you can get), the heatsinks coupled with these sticks is quite interesting. A honeycomb design that covers the majority of the ICs on the stick, which will now be a de-facto choice for other OCZ RAM, called "XTC" (Xtreme Thermal Convection).

Though having less material area to dissapate, the honeycomb design apparently allows for more efficient cooling via better contact with the ICs spread across the chip and incorporates a layered design. The design may actual give a larger surface dissipation area, and with better contact as well gives you OCZ RAM that has high potential for overclocking.
