HP has made the move of splitting its handhelds and notebooks into distinct business units. The company has announced plans to separate the product teams for its notebooks and handhelds, including the new iPaq hw6900 series. This means that there are now four units that comprise HP's Personal Systems Group, those being handhelds, notebooks, desktops and workstations. Tomorrow, the company will report its first-quarter earnings.
