XenSource ready to take on Redmond with XenEnterprise

“Ten minutes to Xen” is the rallying cry for XenSource as they look to now compete with Microsoft in the up and coming virtualization battles. With Microsoft's Virtual Server not even having a release update for a year or more from now, but companies like AMD and Intel both pushing virtualization, it's very likely that XenSource may end up filling a niche and take ground away from Microsoft. As the article mentions, XenSource has the licensing they need to allow their customers to migrate existing virtual servers running on Microsoft software to move onto their new software. “XenEnterprise” is their attempt for the Windows world, with an all-encompassing package meant to take care of it all.
