Google is all over the place. They have made many partnerships with many companies in a very short amount of time, including companies like eBay and Yahoo. Just this week we learned about Google and eBay teaming up to provide free VoIP. Now, they are even going after Apple. Just recently, Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, has been appointed to Apple's board of directors. The appointment was approved yesterday, and Mr. Jobs had this to say about it:

"Eric is obviously doing a terrific job as CEO of Google, and we look forward to his contributions as a member of Apple's board of directors," said Apple CEO Steve Jobs. "Like Apple, Google is very focused on innovation and we think Eric's insights and experience will be very valuable in helping to guide Apple in the years ahead."
Microsoft now faces more heat than ever. Two of Microsofts biggest competitors now have a very strong link between them, opening up a huge range of possibilities for future projects.
