Google Video is getting Google into hot water, with them recently revealing that they are being sued. For an "undisclosed" reason by an unknown company, they have been targeted for a lawsuit over copyright infringement, doubtless due to video content on the site:
Without providing detail, Google disclosed the video copyright lawsuit in a quarterly filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. A Google spokesman didn't have any further information about the suit late Wednesday afternoon.
They are definitely no stranger to these lawsuits, and their recent acquisition of YouTube.com has made them only all the more prepared. Hopefully Google will reveal more information soon as to what exactly they are being sued over.
