Opera for the Wii to arrive this week
No matter which camp you follow, it is apparent that the Wii is selling like hotcakes. With a huge focus on the Internet as a portal for this years consoles, their functionality on the web is more important than ever. Opera is announcing the launch of their browser for the Wii, which will be made available in just three days. Unlike their desktop version, Opera for the Wii is not free, though like ages past they are offering it free as a trial. Nintendo themselves also issued a press release over this. They don't mention any specific feature differences, so likely it won't be anything Opera users aren't already used to. Whether or not it is worth sinking money into will be up to anyone who gives it a try.
Starting Friday, you'll be able to download it from the Opera site.
