YouTube/CBS deal falls through
Bad news for Google and YouTube, the deal they had been working out with CBS has fallen apart. The deal, which would have let YouTube host clips from various shows that are run on CBS, would have generated money for both companies, but fell apart because they could not reach a mutual agreement as to how it would be handled.
This is another in a series of deals that YouTube has missed, and can't be making Google happy. They continue to receive complaints of copyright infringement and are having a hard time convincing the business world of YouTube's potential
