RIAA sued by former defendant

It's always encouraging to see and hear stories of the little guy fighting back. With the relentless RIAA going after students, universities, dead people and quite a number of innocents, a lot of people have started to wise up. Now, a woman who was sued quite some time ago by the RIAA for charges that turned out to be completely false is fighting back by taking them to court. The suit is for “malicious prosecution”, and likely she will look for reparations for the damage, financial or otherwise, that the RIAA inflicted over the past two years.

I look forward to seeing how the case pans out.

Lately, people have been much more vocal about their opposition to the industry.

The RIAA really is a true piece of s**t. They sue everyone and anyone, even some people who don't own computers have been sued. They tried to sue AllOfMP3.com for $1.65 TRILLION! They claimed that each song offered by the site (11 million) had caused $150,000 in damages, and thus they needed $1,650,000,000,000 in compensation. This company/organization/whatever it is needs to be stopped...
