Intel is in hot water all over the world, it seems. They were recently fined by South Korea regulators for market abuse, and the company is also facing issues in the EU and Japan. And now the processor giant will have to do with some serious allegations in their homeland, with the FTC planning to launch investigations into the company for suspected antitrust violations.

Reportedly the FTC approached Intel this week with a subpoena and is now probing the company with how they behave towards their competition (namely AMD). This is in addition to investigations that have already been occurring, some of them prompted by AMD who has sued Intel on numerous occasions for antitrust violations, among other things.
