There was a lot of excitement surrounding Canonical's announcement of their Netbook Remix at Computex last week, however there were also a lot of questions left unanswered. Mark Shuttleworth, CEO of Canonical, has stepped forward and answered many of them along with revealing even more about the plans for the distro. On his blog, Shuttleworth laid out a lot of information, and made it clear that they are soliciting feedback from people.

Shuttleworth talks about the design of the UI for the distro and how it is designed to be “vertically economical”, an important detail with the increasing number of small laptops that utilize widescreen resolutions. Definitely worth the read.
