newegg.com offers the retail Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz Dual-Core Socket 775 Processor, model no. BX80570E8500, bundled with the Biostar TForce LGA 775 ATX Motherboard, model no. TP43D2A7, for $259.98. This $10 mail-in rebate drops the price to $249.98. With $8.97 for shipping, we couldn't find a similarly priced bundle elsewhere. The E8500 features 6MB of L2 cache and a 1333MHz frontside bus. The motherboard supports Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Duo, and Pentium processors with up to 8GB of RAM.
