Left 4 Dead DLC coming to PC and Xbox 360 soon
Those of you playing Left 4 Dead will be happy to know that the first downloadable content release for both the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the zombie co-op shooter should be announced “really shortly.” Though light on details, on a Kotaku video podcast Valve writer Chet Faliszek revealed that the upcoming DLC should bring additional “versus maps and new stuff.”
Valve is reportedly planning to release the content across both platforms simultaneously. While pricing was not specifically discussed, the new content is expected to be free for PC owners and priced at around $10 on Xbox 360. Owners of the PC version can also expect the long-promised SDK at some point, which should allow for the creation of custom maps, scenarios and other mods.
