Left 4 Dead DLC arriving next week?
Late last month, we learned that Valve had plans to release downloadable content for Left 4 Dead in the very near future. Not much was revealed regarding what sort of content or the scope of it, only that more versus maps were on the schedule. They didn't have much on a specific release date either, but as of today more information has been uncovered.
A spokesperson for the company has apparently made it clear that the content will be available “very soon”, as early as next week, and will include a major update for the L4D SDK. Unfortunately still light on content specifics, it seems unlikely that the DLC will include any new maps, though with an enhanced SDK it may not be long before players begin offering their own maps or campaigns for play. If you are a L4D fan, hold your breath for next week to see what sort of refresh we'll get.
