F.E.A.R. 2 PC demo hits the web

As expected, a playable demo for the highly anticipated F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin horror themed shooter has been released today. Available for all Xbox 360, PS3 and PC owners, the demo should provide a slight taste of what we can expect with the full game due to be released next month on February 10.

The Project Origin demo is a 1.76GB download and picks up where the story of the original game ended. You’ll play as Delta Force operative Michael Beckett, whose first priority is to try to reconnect with the rest of his squad after a helicopter crash but will inevitably run into various supernatural situations, with little Alma constantly appearing onscreen to creep you out. You’ll get a quick tutorial in melee combat, get introduced to various weapons including a sweet sniper rifle, and test out your slow motion abilities as you jump on the bad guys. Sounds tempting? You can grab a copy of the PC demo right here.
