For the third time since its release roughly seven months ago, EA and Crytek have announced another free trial period for Crysis Wars, the multiplayer component of Crysis Warhead. The offer starts today and will continue up until next Friday, April 17, with players getting access to each of the game’s three multiplayer modes and all 23 maps. All user-generated maps for multiplayer will also be accessible during this free trial period.

The announcement comes as the company prepares to launch Crysis Maximum Edition in the coming weeks, featuring all three games in one box: Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars. Those who want to participate in the free online play period can download Wars from mycrysis.com and then register to receive a CD key.

  1. YES YES YES YES YES! Now I can finally try out multiplayer! And to think I was going to uninstall it.
  2. crysis multipayer is gonna lag because of high demand on computer hardware and not slow internet connections..lol
  3. just to clarify.. this is the same multiplayer included with Warhead, right? so if I own Warhead, this shouldn't apply?
