Free Halo 3 multiplayer for Xbox Live Silver members
So long as you haven't had your head under water the last few weeks you've almost certainly taken notice to the stir over Halo 3's Mythic Map Pack news and Thursday's launch. The map pack features three new multiplayer maps titled "Orbital", "Assembly" and "Sandbox", and is readily available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft points.
In an obvious effort to draw in sales of the recent release as well as Xbox Live memberships, Microsoft has decided to allow Silver class members the privilege of experiencing Halo 3's multiplayer action for free over this weekend. The event is only scheduled to last until Monday, April 13th at 9AM PST, so if you've been holding off on that Gold membership, now's your chance to get a taste.

have never really got into Halo at all. Perhaps one day when its out for pc i will play it. Halo games for consoles are just plagued with aim assist. I really don't understand what ppl see in games that helps them aim. In addition the majority of people don't even know it. Even if its turned off aim assist still exist to some degree. |

People that use aim assist in PC games put themselves at a dissadvantage compared to those skilled enough to headshot any moving target without help.Anyway, halo3 multiplayer for free? The game can be bought in second hand shops for about 8quid now. I was offered 3quid when I tried to sell my copy. That makes the cost of the new levels about the same as buying the game. Is free multiplayer for a weekend going to make a difference to people? |
