Super Talent intros "Chrome" DDR3 triple-channel kits
That's still somewhat behind the fastest modules currently available, but triple-channel rated kits are not yet as common as DDR2 dual channel kits. You can read more about these modules in the press release after the jump.
It would be useful to accompany new products like these with sales figures for Core i7 based machines. Intel isn't sharing specific information, but seems to be doing relatively well. I find it hard to believe that Core i7 played a big part in helping Intel turn a profit the last quarter, however, especially as overall PC sales have continued to dwindle with only low-cost laptops and particularly netbooks gaining a stronger foothold.
