MSI unveils well-rounded, compact EX460 notebook
MSI has unveiled its new lightweight notebook, the EX460. While its specifications seem to lean toward casual media and work functions, MSI’s latest system only weighs 4.4lbs (2kg). At its core, the EX460 features a 14” 1366x768 (16:9) LED-backlit display, an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 with 512MB of VRAM.

Other specs include up to a 500GB HDD, a Blu-ray combo drive, 802.11 b/g/n, optional Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA-out, a 4-in-1 card reader and a 6 or 9-cell battery. MSI has incorporated their EDS ergonomic keyboard, which has 51% larger keys than the conventional notebook.
Unfortunately, there was no mention of availability or pricing in the official press release, and my searches have left me empty handed. If you happen to stumble across this information, don’t be afraid to let us know in the comments.
