Lenovo has quietly released a new multimedia remote with a built-in keyboard. According to Engadget the device has been available worldwide for about a week with a $60 suggested retail price. The remote seems compact enough to be used in one hand, and features include a 2.4GHz wireless QWERTY keyboard, standard media controls, and a thumb-oriented trackball.

Lenovo's palm-sized keyboard remote is compatible with Windows 2000 through Windows 7, and would be a perfect companion for the lonely HTPC in your life. It connects to systems via a "USB nano dongle" and is functional at up to ten meters away.

The device ships with a one-year limited warranty and you can currently purchase it directly through Lenovo. It's worth noting that the item's availability is marked as "ships within 13 business days".
