There's nothing wrong with a bit of nostalgia every now and again. In fact, that's exactly what back-from-the-dead game studio 3D Realms is hoping will move you to open your wallet and purchase their brand-new old games collection, affectionately known as the 3D Realms Anthology.

Reliving the past is what the Anthology bundle is all about. It includes a whopping 32 games which is almost every game that 3D Realms and Apogee ever released. It also includes a "re-rockestarted" soundtrack with nine remade tracks from a range of classic 3D Realms titles such as Duke Nukem II, Wacky Wheels, Bio Menace, Major Stryker and Shadow Warrior.

Below is a list of every game included in the bundle, in no particular order:

Arctic Adventure, Bio Menace, Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold, Blake Stone: Planet Strike, Realms of Chaos, Pharaoh's Tomb, Commander Keen: Goodbye Galaxy, Commander Keen: Invasion of the Vorticons, World Rescue, Secret Agent, Raptor: Call of the Shadows, Math Rescue, Terminal Velocity, Monster Bash, Wacky Wheels, Mystic Towers, Stargunner, Paganitzu, Shadow Warrior, Monuments of Mars, Wolfenstein 3D, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Rise of the Triad: Dark War, Crystal Caves, Duke Nukem, Duke Nukem 2, Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Death Rally, Alien Carnage, Hocus Pocus and Major Stryker.

The only titles missing from the collection are Prey and Max Payne.

3D Realms points out that every game in the collection is DRM-free and has partial controller support.

The Anthology is a download-only collection brought together by a custom-made launcher built to run on Windows. It's priced at $40 although it's on sale for half that price for the next day or so. In other words, if you want it at a great deal, you'd better act fast.

If you haven't already figured it out, 3D Realms is back. A post on the company's website says they're returning with new talent, new games and a renewed passion for innovative experiences.
