It's the time of the year when even the least socially inclined of us end up having people over to our houses. Once the food and house cleaning is taken care of, the guests are about to show up - and we totally forgot about music. Or maybe that's just me. Spotify has launched a feature called Spotify Party which specializes in beat-matched music playlists to help with this exact predicament.
Exclusive to Spotify Party are some playlists with up to 120 tracks curated by Diplo, the American DJ and producer who was named the most Shazamed artist of 2015. With the seamless playlists, every song blends into the next one, so that means no interruptions and no awkward silences. Want dance music? Or something more zen? There's a mood tuner to help set the right tone for each gathering.
The Spotify Party feature is in the Genres & Moods area inside the Browse section and it's available now on Android and iOS.
