Benchmarks: Crysis
Interestingly the Radeon HD 4870 graphics cards are quite impressive in Crysis, at least when testing at the lower resolutions. For example, at 1440x900 the Force3D Radeon HD 4870 beat the GeForce GTX 280 by 2fps while it was 6fps faster than a standard Radeon HD 4870. Much the same was also seen at 1680x1050.
However, at 1920x1200 the Radeon HD 4870 graphics cards falls to the middle of the pack. That said, the Force3D Radeon was just 2fps slower than the GeForce GTX 280. The main reason for the difference in the standings is that at 1920x1200 Crossfire is now a threat.
